Single storey house: in the single storey house the ceilings are insulated so the living space is within one level.
Houses with lofts: in houses with lofts the roof gets insulated and the top floor is reinforced for extreme weight.
House with mansard roof: it is similar to the house with a loft but the roof is a slightly raised hence the habitable space grows.
Two storey house: in the two storey house the top ceiling is insulated and the first floor is reinforced.
